I posted in this forum in response to the first poster. I thought it might help to know others had seen the same error.

The OP seemed to be talking about this forum so if the problem is with other forums then it should be reported elsewhere once it may be an Opera issue and not a forum one.

What about adding a FAQ post on installing Opera?
For example, to do a standalone install, you need to first choose a proper file to download, right?

When the standalone installer is ready then I will update the FAQ to include it.
